May 14: The National Investigation Agency (NIA) on Thursday filed a 7,500-page chargesheet against 10 accused in the 2025 Red Fort car bomb blast case that killed 11 people and injured several others.
The agency said the November 10 blast was carried out using a Vehicle-Borne Improvised Explosive Device (VBIED). The chargesheet was filed before the Special NIA Court in New Delhi under provisions of the UAPA, BNS, Explosive Substances Act and Arms Act.
According to NIA, the accused were linked to Ansar Ghazwat-ul-Hind (AGuH), an affiliate of AQIS, and were allegedly involved in manufacturing explosives, stockpiling weapons and planning attacks on security installations.
The agency said the investigation uncovered a wider terror conspiracy spread across several states, while further probe is underway to trace other absconding suspects.
