08.07.2020, The VOK Web Desk :A press conference held by Ambedkar Yuva Sangathan in which the organization welcomes the direction given by National Commission For Backward Classes (NCBC) after investigation into purported manipulation in the Reservation Roster and gross violation of Reservation Policy in recruitment at Central University of Jammu to immediately stop the recruitment process over the swapped positions and must not do swapping. Furthermore, Commission also directed the Varsity to upload the Reservation Roster system on its website.
The general secretary of Ambedkar Yuva Sangathan ,Satish Kumar said, Vice-Chancellor, Central University of Jammu with his criminal intention has changed the roster of teaching positions and swapped reserved SC, ST and OBC positions with Un-Reserved. This change in the Roster does not have the approval of competent bodies even as the meeting of the University Executive had taken place in between and the item was kept in the agenda but the same was withdrawn and not discussed for the reasons best known to the VC. Satish Kumar who is also the complainant of Same case in National Commission for Schedule Caste and National Commission for Schedule Tribes also welcomes the direction given by OBC commission to stop the recruitment with immediate effect .
President of Ambedkar Yuva Sangthan, RD Thappa demands immediate removal of Vice Chancellor and CBI enquiry against him. RD Thappa said on the one hand Modi Government had brought the new laws for the prevention of atrocities against Scheduled Castes and Scheduled Tribes to ensure more stringent provisions for prevention of Atrocities against Scheduled Castes and the Scheduled Tribe and on the other hand person like Ashok Aima with the criminal intentions fiddling with the rights of OBCs, SCs and STs. He further said that the People like Ashok Aima with the casteist mindset still believes in the Law of stone age . He further warned , ” gone are the days when people of lower caste were treated as slaves of the Upper castes and warned if rights of SC, ST and OBC employees are not being restored , we will launch a state level agitation against him.
He also demanded a CBI enquiry in this case against Vice Chancellor of Central University of Jammu for his alleged involvement in the violation and manipulation of Reservation Roster. RD Thappa, President of Ambedkar Yuva Sangathan said Whenever the candidates from SC, ST or OBC applies for the job of Universities , then such type of tactics used to put them behind the curtains and barred them from main streaming by Such type of corrupt VCs who are hell bent to implement Manu smriti in the temple of education but this will not be tolerate now.
