Jammu and Kashmir on Thursday reported 490 new covid-19 infections, taking the overall tally past 12000 mark.

Officials said that 62 cases were reported from Jammu and 428 from Kashmir Valley even as 109 more COVID-19 patients have recovered and discharged from various hospitals.

Giving district-wise details, official sources told GNS Srinagar reported 259 cases, Baramulla 18, Kulgam 21, Shopian 42, Anantnag 6, Kupwara 3, Pulwama 32, Budgam 34, Bandipora 2 and Ganderbal 11
Similarly, they said, Jammu reported 14 new infections, Udhampur 3, Kathua 2, Rajouri 33, Samba 8 and
Doda 2.

Among the fresh cases include 16 from army’s BB Cantt Srinagar, 11 from CRPF’s 216 TC, 45 from 115 Bn Zakura Srinagar, one from IGP Office Birein Nishat, two from A/237 battalion Jawahar Nagar, six from G/117 Bn Jawahar Nagar, 11 from Crime Branch Building Humhama Budgam, seven from BSF Srinagar, 42 from 54 Bn near Jamal Carpet Srinagar, six from 54 Bn Nishat Srinagar, 11 from 35 Bn Humama Budgam and one from 18 Bn Kulgam.
182 cases were confirmed at SKIMS Soura diagnostic lab and include ten males (42, 27, 25, 27, 37, 22, 31, 22, 21, 22) from BB Cantt Srinagar.
The CRPF Cases include male (45) from 115 Bn Zakura Snr Srg, male (36) from Igp Office Biren Nishat Snr Srinagar, two males (34, 30) from A/237 Bn Jawahar Nagar Snr Srinagar, six males (38, 36, 44, 40, 33, 29) from G/117 Bn Jawahar Nagar Snr Srinagar, eleven males (39, 30, 32, 35, 34, 38, 34, 29, 45, 48, 34) from Cqc Crime Branch Building Humhama Budgam, seven males (33, 30, 33, 44, 56, 50, 54) from Ch Bsf Snr Srinagar, forty two males (39, 36, 33, 40, 47, 45, 41, 45, 32, 56, 46, 38, 40, 37, 31, 39, 28, 22, 46, 40, 34, 33, 30, 29, 24, 41, 39, 34, 31, 29, 42, 40, 38, 30, 38, 27, 39, 42, 42, 40, 48, 50) from 54 Bn Near Jamal Carpet Snr Srinagar, six males (54, 27, 30, 38, 36, 41) from 54 Bn Nishat Snr Srinagar, eleven males (25, 26, 38, 36, 24, 29, 35, 40, 38, 34, 53) from 35 Bn Humama Budgam, male (30) from C.H Bsf Budgam, male (37) from 18 Bn Kulgam.
The Baramulla cases Include male (49) from Kunzar Tangmarg, male (30) from Hadipora Sopore, male (42) from Mangloora Tangmarg, male (75) from Rafiabad, female (10) from Uri, female (33) from Fatehgarh.
The Kulgam cases include male (32) from Moonmai, female (19) from Badgam Dip Kulgam, male (30) from Crpf 24 Bn Kulgam, male (28. 10 27) from Budgam71C Kulgam, female (29.11 91) and male (29. 84 51) from Budgamabc Kulgam, male (20) from Kb Badgam Kulgam.
The Anantnag cases include male (50) from T.B. Shah, male (40) from Qazigund, male (40) from Verinag, two males (51, 50) from Anantnag, female (53) from Dailgam Anantnag.
The Budgam cases include male (37) from Ichgam, two males (44, 52) from Budgam, male (33) from Beerwa, male (58) from Kralpora, female (NA) from Yaripora Budgam.
The Ganderbal cases include male (45) from Ganderbal, male (24) from Wayin, male (55) from Fatehpora. The Shopian cases include three males (40, 30, 45) from Shopian, the Poonch cases include male (46) from Poonch while the Kupwara cases Include male (30) from Handwara.
The Srinagar cases include male (24) from Nowgam, male (48) from Barzulla, male (52) from Chattabal, male (30) from Humhama, male (43) from Nishat, male (35) from Bemina, male (59) from Basant Bagh, male (21) from Shalimar, two males (50, 54) from Soura, female (60) from Khanyar, two males (45, 65) and two females (40, 03) from Lal Bazar, three females (55, 28, 34) from Natipora, male (45) from Awantabhawan, four males (30, 27, 28, 30) from SKIMS, female (55) from Bemina, male (33) from Batamaloo, male (29) from Batapora, two males (55, 45) from Nowshera, male (48) from Eidgah, male (47) from Sonwar, female (47) and male (65) from Saidpora, female (62) from Jawahar Nagar, male (29) from SKIMS Soura, female (38) from Peerbagh, male (22) from Balochipora, male (15) from Baghat Noor, female (50) from Baghat Gurudwara, male (28) from Bagh Mehtab, female (70) from Gulab Bagh, female (65) from Dulabbad, male (75) from Zoonimar, male (22) from Dugpora Srinagar.
The Jammu cases include male (32) from Jammu.
The Pulwama cases include male (40) from Panzgam, three females (26, 65, 40) from Tral Pulwama.
The Rajouri cases include male (55) from Rajouri.
The Bandipora cases include female (75) from Brar Bandipora.

Meanwhile, 109 more COVID-19 patients have recovered and discharged from various hospitals, 34 from Jammu Division and 75 from Kashmir Division.

According to the daily Media Bulletin on novel Corona virus (Covid-19), out of 12156 positive cases, 5488 are Active Positive, 6446 have recovered and 222 have died; 18 in Jammu division and 204 in Kashmir division (GNS)
