One injured in clashes over land dispute in Sumbal Gund

Kangan: One persons seriously injured on Tuesday afternoon after two families entered into a scuffle over a land dispute in Sumbal Gund area in Central Kashmir’s Ganderbal district.
Reports said that the incident took place in Sumbal Bala village of Ganderbal district, which falls under the jurisdiction of Gund Police Station.
Officials informed that two families, who are close relatives have dispute over a piece of land and members of both the families entered into the scuffle on Tuesday afternoon.
Officials said the two groups hit each other with lathis and other sharp-edged weapons.
They said one person has received injuries in the clashes.
The injured person has been identified as Altaf Ahmad Bhat son of Ghulam Mohammad Bhat
Officials said the injured after receiving initial medical aid at Public Health Center (PHC) Gund were the injured person shifted to SKIMS Soura for advanced treatment.
Gund Police registered a case in this regard.
