Pulwama,31 August: The world of literature during the pandemic months has witnessed a great contribution in the poetry and other related areas, opening up huge opportunities for the adept writers from different parts of the world to pendown their art of writing. Adnan Shafi from Chandergam, Tral, Of Pulwama District also proved his mettle in the field of poetry and has written number of attractive poems related to different cultures.
On his great contribution in this field he has honored by world’s most active writers forum, Motivational Strips and Gujarat Sahitya Akademi award.
Like many writers of the world who pursued their literary passion especially during lockdown when restriction from social interaction has become boon for the self and for the society.
Motivational Strips being the world’s most active online writers forum and Gujarat Sahitya Akademi being India’s premium literary institution (under the state government of Gujarat) joined hands to honour India’s most prominent poets during India’s 74th year of independence.
Both the entities celebrated 74th Independence Day of India, by historically honouring writers from all over the world apart from the national front.
Poet Adnan has been on passion of epitome to write poems more and more since ages. His poems have been published in many national and international anthologies and magazine, and he has written one book “‘Tears fall in my heart based on kashmir conflict” and is the co-author of more than 50 books. Currently, he is working as an Acquiring Editor for British and USA magazine (Both are English Poetry based magazines )and is working as contributor writer to Nepal online Newspaper.
Among 350 writers from 80 countries,Adnan shafi s/o Mohd shafi from Kashmir distt:Pulwama (village:chandrigam Tral ) is the one among 350 writers and has got Gujarat akademi certificate.
The people of Tral in particularly his own villagers of chandergam along with his friends and relatives have felt proud of him and presented their good wishes for him.
In a gesture of goodwill one of his friend, Dr.Sheikh Arshid ( Writer and Columnist) has adorned the proud moment that the young poet is exceptional and has deep musings over writting poems especially on nature, vicissitudes of common kashmiri people and culture,May Allah bless him in all fields of life.
