ANANTNAG, SEPTEMBER 13: District development commissioner Anantnag Mr. K.K Sidha today briefed the media persons about the Jan Abhiyaan.
While addressing the media, the DDC said that Jan Abhiyaan has been launched in all the 335 Panchayat Halqas of district and block coordinators have been appointed for successful implementation of the programme.
The DDC said that the motive of the programme is to bring governance to the doorsteps and immediate redressal of public problems including issuance of various certificates by revenue departments on fast track basis besides disposing pending applications of pensioners, scholarships, KCC PMKISAN, Golden cards, PMMVY, online registration. ‘Block divas for three days will also be organised during this programme’, he Said.
Meanwhile, DDC said that a detailed circular regarding completion of all works within 20 days has been issued to departments. Also, PHE, R&B and all line departments were asked to frame an action plane for next year according to the demands of people.
On the occasion, DDC said that NASHA MUKUT BHARAT ABHIYAN has been launched in the district and will be further highlighted to get rid of this menace. He said that PRIs representatives and BDCs will be fully involved in this programme. He added that Ten lac rupees have been spared for every halqa to complete the pending B2V2 works up to 30th of this month.
During the programme, Sidha said, all SOPs will be followed and people will be made aware about pandemic and precautions there.
