Man, woman found hanging with tree in Akhnoor
Jammu, Nov 08 : Two persons including a man and a woman were on Sunday found hanging with a tree near river Chenab in Akhnoor Sub Division of Jammu district, officials said.
Officials told the news agency—Kashmir News Observer (KNO) that locals spotted two bodies hanging with a tree in suspicious circumstances at Bal near river Chenab in Gurha Brahmana area of Akhnoor.
They said teams from local Police Station and forensic teams rushed to the spot.
“Investigation into the matter and inquest proceedings under CrPC 174 have been started in Akhnoor Police Station,” officials said.
They identified the deceased as Mangat Ram (30), son of Krishan Lal of Nargali Ghari, Jammu and Sarswati (25) daughter of Brij Lal Soni of Beerda Katgoora, District Korbwa in Chattisgarh—(KNO)
