Sopore, Nov 28 : A 40-year-old man was killed after being hit by speedy vehicle in north Kashmir’s Sopore on Saturday morning.
An official told Kashmir Despatch that a four wheeler private vehicle was driven at high speed hit a man at Amargrah Sopore on Saturday morning and fled from the spot.
The officer said in the mishap 40-year-old man identified as Nizam u Din Krankroo son of Ghulam Qadir Krankoo of Umerabad Amargrah was critically injured and was immediately taken to sub-district hospital Sopore where he was declared brought dead.
Meanwhile, soon after the incident police started manhant and within two hours arrested the driver and also siezed vehicle.
