Srinagar, Dec 11: A team of Doctors Association Kashmir (DAK) and Jammu and Kashmir Doctors Coordination Committee (JKDCC) Friday met Financial Commissioner Health and Medical Education Department, Atal Dulloo for fulfilment demands concerning medical fraternity.
The delegation was headed by President DAK, Dr Suhail Naik, General Secretary DAK, Dr Ovais H Dar and Convener JKDCC, Dr M Yousuf Tak. Others who were present in the meeting include Dr Arshid H Trag, Dr Aijaz and Dr Ashraf.
DAK and JKDCC raised many issues confronting medical fraternity including caderisation of doctors, DPC of consultations and formation of District Fornesic Units.
The Financial Commissioner gave a patient hearing to the delegation and promised that the issued would be resolved in the shortest period of time.
“The FC promised that caderisation would be done very soon,” the delegation said.
The delegation thanked the chair for the steps which are being put for welfare of doctors despite the Covid-19 pandemic.
The delegation apprised FC that frontline health workers are working day night to contain the ongoing pandemic and save human lives.
