The chowk remains busy as the passenger buses for most of the routes are available here and it is the need of the hour to construct a passenger shed for the convenience of passengers, locals said

They also said that, Passenger vehicles of Srinagar, Safapora, Ajas, Chitteybandy, Aragam, Main market Bandipora and other local routes are available to people from this chowk due to which this point remains heavily rushed.

They further said that, even after such a crowd, authorities have not even bothered to construct a passenger shed thereby making common masses suffer.

“Passengers suffer a great deal due to humid conditions of summer and rains,” Gh Nabi, a local  said, adding that the concerned authorities never bothered to construct a shed here for the convenience of passengers despite repeated requests.

He added that a passenger shed with capacity of ten to twenty persons is a burning need of the hour which should be constructed on the spot for the benefit of the public as their is also land available for construction of shed.

A school going student Noor Ul Jamal told that, hundreds of  school going students   waiting for vehicles face immense hardships in rainy and hot weather due to non availability of passenger shed on the spot.

Locals appeal district development commissioner Bandipora to look into the matter on priority basis so to get rid from this issue.
