Bandipora, April 16: A team of Bandipora Police headed by Deputy Superintendent of Police Bandipora Mohammad Idress is on toes to ensure lockdown in the district in letter and spirit so that Covid-19 can be defeated.
A police team led by DySP Hqrs Mohd. Idrees with Station House Officer Bandipora Mir Saleem visited several Places, Banks and associated ATM’s in Bandipora town and adjacent areas and appealing people to ensure social distancing.
The police team observed disobedience of lockdown orders from masses after which the team interacted with people to ensure social distancing in wake of Covid-19 pandemic.
In Bandipora police used public address system’s and made people aware about the importance of social distancing in wake of Covid-19 cases across Jammu and Kashmir.
DySp Hqr and SHO Bandipora urged people to use ATM’s instead of visiting banks and stressed them to cooperate with civil and police administration in keeping
