Pulwama 17 April 2020: Chief Medical Officer Pulwama has urged upon the people of District to avail the benefit of 108 Ambulance Service available 24*7 in the district.
She said it will ensure the delivery of public health care services of the patients at their doorsteps by providing transportation to patients requiring immediate medical care. She added that it will provide round the clock transportation to the patients requiring immediate medical care, especially critical, accidental victims, pregnant women and sick children .
She also said that 102/108 ambulances are fitted with Global Positioning System (GPS) in all the the blocks of the district besides 4 Basic Life Support (BLS) ambulances and 1 Advanced life support (ALS) ambulances are already commissioned for services.
