Jammu: On the directions and guidance of former Minister and Chairman Dogra Educational Trust and President Dogra Sadar Sabha Th. Gulchain Singh Charak, Kr Samar Dev Singh Charak, Secretary, Dogra Educational Trust, Bari Brahmana, Samba fulfilling his moral and social responsibility in this hour of crisis in wake of Covid-19 pandemic followed by countrywide lockdown and social distancing to defeat virus resulting in immense sufferings to economically weaker sections of society in general and labour class in particular, on Wednesday distributed food items including 5Kg rice,5 Kg flour (Atta),salt, sugar, pulses and cooking oil per family among needy and distressed families of factory workers residing in the private Building, Ward 2, Bari Brahmana. Worthwhile to mention here that at present, various families from Uttar Pradesh, Uttrakhand, Bihar, Madya Pradesh, Doda, Basohli of Jammu and Kashmir are residing in the building. The food packets were packed hygienically and proper social distancing was maintained while distribution in a proper and peaceful way. The Secretary also provided financial help to one of the widow lady residing with her children and sister. Kr Gambhir Dev Singh Charak, Trustee Dogra Educational Trust and Sunil Kesar, SDPO Bari Brahmana were also present on the occasion. Secretary, Dogra Educational Trust speaking on the occasion hailed various social organizations’ and NGOs coming forward to provide help to the needy families in this hour of crisis to save humanity from this deadly coronavirus. Meanwhile he appealed well-off to generously contribute to provide essentials to all needy persons fearing that lockdown may be extended further in wake of rise in corona crises throughout country on daily basis.
