It is quit shocking to see on one hand the Government brings an ordinance to protect doctors who are at frontline in the fight against COVID-19. But on the other hand a doctor is terminated for claiming his right.

This move indicates power arrogance and is unethical practices prevalent in this system. This has not only caused pain and humiliation to the Doctor community but sent a horrible message to the population who are fighting the Coronavirus pandemic at different levels. It is surely a case of crime against humanity when WHO has declared that world is under Pandemic.

Anjuman Sharie Shian strongly demands revocation of unconstitutional and unethical termination of Dr Asif Ali Bhat and apologize to him and whole medical community. We civil society organizations/members will not allow any kind of bully or discouragement of any frontline worker.
