SSP,Ramban , Haseeb-ur-Rehman today flagged off four Highway Patrol Vehicles in Ramban.
Two Vehicles moved towards Nashri and two towards the Jawahar Tunnel for patrolling to quickly respond to any highway (NH44) emergency.
RAMBAN,APRIL 27:
According to SSP,each vehicle of TATA Xenon DLS make will patrol in their specified jurisdiction that is one between Nashri to Karol,Ramban,one between Ramban to Panthial, another between Panthial to Chamalwas, Banihal and another between Chamalwas to Jawahar Tunnel.
As part of government’s initiative to enhance 24×7 vigil on NH44 each vehicle manned by four persons including the driver will be performing in addition to the vehicles of existing Quick Response Teams(QRTs) of Ramban,Ramsu and Banihal..
Each vehicle will be fitted with oxygen cylinder and having first aid etc will be assisting the ambulances during an emergency especially mishaps.
He informed that the persons deputed with these vehicles will also be trained in first aid rescue operation trainings.
He said that even drinking water and some ration will also be made available in these vehicles.
At night every vehicle will remain parked at the police station of its jurisdiction e.g. at Chanderkot, Ramban,Ramsu and Banihal.
ASP,Ramban, Sanjay Parihar and SHO,Ramban,Sunil Sharma were also present on the occasion.
