Srinagar 17 May : After the country enters the fourth phase of lockdown, Govt is likely to give relaxation in Public transport and flight operation with a limited number of passengers, Sources said.
According to reports reached to KNB, Govt will issue fresh guidelines for the next phase today which is expected to last for more weeks. Sources said the government will likely issue guidelines to open malls and shopping markets which could be on an odd-even basis.
Meanwhile, Sources indicates that Metro travel will be likely allowed – subject to strict rules of social distancing. “Construction works will be fully restored but not in red zone areas,” they further said.
Earlier, Prime Minister Narendra Modi said, we should wear mask and make social distancing because Corona will be with us for a long time but our lives cannot revolve around it.
Pertinently, the country has crossed 90,000-mark for deadly coronavirus. With fresh 4987 cases, bringing the total to 90,927. The figure includes 2,872 patients who died and more than 34,000 patients who recovered.(KNB)
