Ganderbal:As the government of India announced country wide lockdown , district administration Ganderbal was quick to give it effect throughout the whole district with the help of Jk police and other government agencies . Taking serious note of the virus ganderbal district administration imposed restrictions and other measures to curb the movement of the people throughout the district which proved very helpful in curbing the spread of the covid 19 thusfar.

People of the district also cooperate with the administration as well as security agencies and are strictly adhering to the slogan “stay home and stay safe” that is why the number of positive case is low in the district as compared to other districts till date.

The district administration Ganderbal is duely taking care of the poor and needy people in this padamic period , supplying the food items, medicines,mask and other necessary items at the doorsteps of these people .Besides there are a number of NGO’S working in the district for social services .

That is why , the district administration Ganderbal succeeded till date to protect the people form this covid 19 .
