Today the Pampore administration on the directions of Tehsildar Mr. Ishtiyaq Mohi-Ud-din launched a major crackdown against the poppy cultivation in which poppy crop on hundreds of kanals in the horticulture fields and common land was destroyed during the crackdown.
The officials warned people for strict actions if repeated the practice again. however locals appreciated this move from the administration.
