Srinagar, June 12:(GNS) Police claimed to have arrested a LeT militant at Khojpura area of Zainpora in South Kashmir’s Shopian district on Friday.
A senior Police officer told GNS that a joint team of Police and army’s 1RR launched Cordon-and-search-operation in Khojpora in wee hours.
During which a militant identified as Zakir Ahmad Khan resident of Khojpora was arrested.
The arrested militant had recently joined LeT outfit and from his possession one 9MM Pistol and other war like stores was recovered, the officer added.(GNS)
