Srinagar, July 7, 2020: Shri A.K.Choudhary-IPS, ADGP Armed J&K issued promotion order of 501 Constables of Armed Police to the rank of Selection Grade Constables yesterday from APHQ J&K Srinagar.
The departmental promotion committee consisting of Shri Maqsood-ul-Zaman-SSP, CO IR 8th Bn, Shri Yougal Manhas-SSP, CO IR 6th Bn, Shri Sanjay Singh Rana-SSP, CO JKAP 12th Bn, Shri Mohammad Shafi Rather, CPO APHQ, Shri Mushtaq Ahmad Wani, Dy.SP (Personnel) APHQ, Syed Sajad Hussain, Dy.SP (S) Private Secretary to ADGP Armed J&K and other staff members of APHQ J&K met under the chairmanship of ADGP Armed J&K at APHQ J&K Srinagar and cleared promotions of 501 Constables to the rank of Selection Grade Constable.
The ADGP Armed J&K congratulated the newly promoted officials and extended his warm greetings to them & their families. He exhorted upon the promoted officials to work with dedication, devotion and highly professional manner in order to be the role models for their junior colleagues in the force. Further promotions in different Ranks are also in the offing.
