Sumbal police continuing its war on drugs arrested a drug peddler.
Acting on a specific Information, a police party of Police Station Sumbal led by SHO P/S Sumbal Sh.Muneeb Ul Islam under the supervision of SDPO Sumbal Sh.Saqib Ghani-JKPS arrested a person namely Mehrajudin Najar R/o Inderkote Sumbal and recovered 37 bottles of psychotropic drug Codeine Phosphate from the premises of his residential house.
In this connection,Case FIR No.105/2020 under relevant sections of NDPS Act has been registered in Police Station Sumbal and further investigation taken up.
General public is requested to come forward with any information regarding drug peddlers in their neighbourhood. Persons found indulging in drug peddling & cultivation of Contraband substances will as dealt strictly as per law.
