Now Teen aged Girl ended her life in Budgam village
Budgam, 22 July: Second suicide attempt was reported on wednesday from central Kashmir’s Budgam district in less than 6 hours and 4th from past three days that has left the people in worry and shock. Now A 16-year-old girl on wednesday late afternoon ended her life by allegedly committing suicide at her home in Kargam area of Budgam district.
An official told news agency Kashmir dot Com that a young girl (name withheld) a resident of Kargam area allegedly consumed some poisonous substance at her home.
Soon after the incident she fell unconscious and family members of the girl immediately shifted her to district hospital Budgam where doctors declared her brought dead.
A health official while confirming the death of a girl to KDC said that the body of deceased girl have been put in mortuary and will be handed over to his family for last rites after completing medico-legal formalities.
Meanwhile, A Police official while confirming the incident told KDC that they have taken cognizance of the incident and set investigations into motion.
Pertinently, suicide cases are on rise in Kashmir Valley particularly in Budgam district as this was the 2nd case of suicide in less than 12 hours.Also,too many incidents have been reported from past months that has left local population in deep shock.(KDC)
