Kulgam: 20th July, 2020 : In its continuous efforts against social evils, Police Party from Jawahar Tunnel on recieving a specific information established a special Naka at Jawahar Tunnel.
Acting swiftly, police party stopped a vehicle bearing registration No PB02BS – 8276 searching through the vehicle a bag was found, containing around 80 grams of Heroin like substance, which was seized on spot. Also 04 Persons boarding in the vehicle namely :-
1. Kuldeep Singh S/O Krishan Singh
2. Sandeep Kour W/O Manjeet Singh both residents of Gunwali Amritsar Punjab.
3. Honey Singh S/O Manjeet Singh R/O Udhanwal Gurdaspur Punjab.
4. Paramjeet Singh S/O Manjeet Singh R/O Sultan Wind Amritsar Punjab have been Arrested and vehicle also stands seized.
In this connection case FIR No.224/2020 under relevant sections of law stands registered in PS Qazigund and further investigation into the matter has been taken up.
General public has applauded the Police action.
