Notorious Drug Peddler Arrested In Wagoora Baramulla
Kreeri, July 19: In decisive action and on the directions of SSP Baramulla Shri Ab Qayoom and under the supervision of SDPO Kreeri Shri Rameez Raja and SHO Kreeri, a police party headed by DO Police Post Wagoora Manzoor Ahmad laid a naka at Wagoora Baramulla.
During naka one person identified as Javaid Ahmad Tantry S/O Ab Rehman Tantry R/o Shrakwara Wagoora was intercepted , during checking 750 tablets Alprazolam(Anxit 0.5) was recovered from his possession.
In this regard an FIR No 76/2020 under section 8/21 NDPS Act has been registered in Police Station Kreeri and further investigation has been initiated.
Its pertinent to mention that the person was a Chronic drug peddler and supplier in the area.The person is already involved in so many NDPS cases.
People of the area has hailed the efforts of Kreeri police and has requested SSP Baramulla to take strict action against this wanted drug peddler.
Meanwhile SDPO Kreeri Shri Rameez Raja and SHO Kreeri has requested community members to come forward with any information regarding drug peddlers in their neighbourhood.
