Traderes Federation call on DC Kupwara
KUPWARA, JULY 15: A delegation of representatives of Traders Federation, Kupwara & Handwara today met Deputy Commissioner, Anshul Garg, here and apprised him about the issues facing them in view of restrictions reimposed in Kupwara district to contain Covid-19 .
The delegation put forth various issues before the Deputy Commissioner which include relief package for hawkers and traders whose business got hit due to lockdown. They also demanded easing out of restrictions for running their business establishments segment wise with adherence to COVID norms.
On the occasion, Deputy Commissioner paid a patient hearing to their issues and assured them necessary support from district administration. The Deputy Commissioner asked the delegation to submit detailed SOPs about operating their businesses segment wise while strictly following the COVID-19 precautionary norms. The DC added that the sampling of traders have to be given priority, only then opening up of shops could be considered.
