Boy drown while taking bath in river in Poonch

Poonch, Aug 3 : A 12-year-old boy drowned in a river while take bath in a river Poonch on Monday, officials said.
At about 1500 hours, they said the boy Murtaza Ahmed Malik (12) son of Mukhtar Malik drowned near Sailan area in the district. The locals later fished out the boy and took him to SDH Surankote where doctors declared him as brought dead on arrival. His body was handed over to his family after legal formalities, a police officer told . (GNS)
