HANDWARA : In its continuous offensive against menace of drug abuse Handwara Police continues it’s war against drugs.
Based on reliable information a police party of Police Station Kralgund headed by SHO Kralgund conducted Patrolling in Beighpora village in the jurisdiction of Police Station Kralgund , checked Vehicle and pedestrians.
During checking one person namely Lateef Ahmad Dar S/o Gh Nabi Dar R/o Beighpora Kralgund was apprehended and during his personal search 35 gms of Heroin was recovered from his possession.
In this connection case FIR No. 80/2020 U/S 8/21 NDPS Act has been registered against him in Police Station Kralgund and investigation taken up.
These efforts are hugely hailed by the general masses. Handwara Police has appealed general public to co-operate in sharing all the information related to drug abuse so that curative steps can be initiated..
