Setting an example of humbleness, 33 years old young Sheikh Aadil Mushtaq from Baramulla, a 2015 batch Jammu and Kashmir Police Service officer currently posted as Deputy Superintendent of Police (Traffic) in Srinagar who has started an initiative “Wall of Kindness” to help needy people in Kashmir.
In the harsh winter in Kashmir many people struggle in the absence of warm clothing. In this wall the clothes hanging on the wall catch the attention of people who stop to take a look. Also In winter of Kashmir when chilai Kalan begins and the people who are needy face huge problems due to unavailability of cloths. While as his initiative has given a sense of belongingness and hope to the needy people around in Srinagar.
During the coronavirus pandemic crisis and lockdown in Kashmir, Sheikh Aadil Mushtaq along with his friends from different walks of life, came up with the idea of helping deliver daily essentials and medicines to the doorstep of needy residents.
Sheikh Adil, besides a police officer, he is a good human being and a guitarist as well. He is also promoting the artists of Kashmir.
Ever since Sheikh Adil he assumed charge in Srinagar, road accident ration has also been decreased. Mr adil has become an inspiration for many. He has proven that being an officer a person can take part in better social reforms and empowerment.
