Baramulla, Dec 23: Despite the coronavirus pandemic, tourists from different states of India and other countries are thronging at famous ski resort Gulmarg to enjoy the snowfall.
According to news agency Kashmir News Observer (KNO), after the recent snowfall in Gulmarg is witnessing a huge rush of tourists.
Tourists were seen enjoying sledge riding, Gandola cable car riding and tracks.
Talking with KNO, a tourist from Karela said after their experience, they would urge people to visit Kashmir for winter holidays.
“From Gulmarg to Sonmarg, I haven’t seen such lovely and caring people anywhere. I request people who are planning to visit Kashmir must come here without any fear,” he said.
“People of Kashmir are treating us like family members. Kashmiriyat is still alive, despite what people have gone through lately, we haven’t seen such hospitality anywhere in the world,” he said—(KNO)
