Tak said it was routine of the government to review the status of old vehicles and issue further directives accordingly as per the circumstances.

“We were given extension to such vehicles sometimes 5 years or sometimes 10 and after such vehicle was proved disastrous for environmental stability, and the process will remain continue in future also”, Tak told KNS.

He said earlier policy of the department regarding revision of vehicles stands existent and there is no change in it.

RTO appealed people not to pay heed to rumors and repose a good faith on authorities. (KNS)
