Srinagar,Jan,16:Polytechnic diploma holders held silent protest at press enclave Srinagar demands either change the eligibility criteria for JE exam or shut all polytechnic colleges.
One of the diploma holder told to the press Trust Of Kashmir that JKSSB had earlier issued advertisement of draughtsman posts with eligibility criteria of that polytechnic diploma holders are also eligible after some days another advertisement has been issued by JKSSB
Changing the eligibility criteria to only two years draughtmen diploma holders are eligible, if we are not eligible then what fun are doing with us.
Another diploma holder Aaqib Altaf said in other states when this advertisement of JE posts are issued so there is only diploma holders eligible like in bihar, Sikkim, UP etc. If the the degree holders are eligible in some states there is special reservation/quota for diploma holder.
And how can we compete with Nitian’s and IITian’s.Now We are only eligible for JE post.
So we all are appealing to the LG of UT Jammu and Kashmir that look in this matter and save our future. If our demand is not fullfill soon, and not give us the chance of that we come on the roads again for protest._PTK
