Locals suffer, appeal DC Bandipora to intervene

Bandipora, 06 Jan: The Power Development Department (PDD) has failed to repair the Gensets of Badugam and Sardaab villages of Tehsil Tulail of Bandipora District, forcing the villagers to reel under darkness from last fifteen days.
The residents said that department is deliberately forcing them to reel under darkness even after approached to the higher ups of Power development department many times but unfortunately nothing has been done in this regard only adds to our sufferings in the absence of electricity despite in this harsh winter.
Residents said that we are not able to charge even our mobile phones and electric lanterns, despite being a remote areas of Tulail department is turning deaf towards our pleas.
However, residents appealed the Deputy Commissioner Bandipora to look into the matter on priority basis and redress their genuine grievances at the earliest.
