Teach Covid-19 as a dedicated lesson to students.

Srinagar:Feb18: President JKECC and Chairman J&K Teachers Association Mr Shah Fayaz has asked the teacher fraternity in Kashmir to commemorate the prior week of Schooling as Covid-19 awareness-cum-Sensitization week.
In a statement send to current news service Shah Fayaz said that, since the Schools are likely to reopen after the catastrophe of Covid-19 Pandemic and Govt. is trying hard to reopen schools with proper strategies and SOPs in place.
Shah Fayaz urged it’s teacher fraternity to sensitize community as well as the students on the Standard Operating Procedures regarding the COVID-19 pandemic.
Parents must be educated on the safety and precautionary measures to be adopted for safe and secure schooling.
Actual as well as virtual modes may be adopted for the sensitization programmes.
Covid-19 awareness-cum-sensitization programmes must be organized at every school with proper display of safety precautions and SOPs.
“Schools remained closed during the pandemic phase in the valley along with other parts of the country and we switched to online mode and community schooling with every resource whatever was possible with us,” said Shah Fayaz.
We must continue our efforts on virtual classes besides the actual schooling following proper SOPs wherever necessary.
Viz. Shift wise schooling, alternate roll no wise, even-odd procedures, etc.
Care must be taken on safety standards and hygiene.
Chairman J&K Teachers Association has urged its all top leaders, Apex members, district presidents, Zonal presidents to form committees in their respective domains for implementation(CNS)
