Bandipora 29 March:Bandipora Police launched a special drive against drivers found driving vehicles without proper documents especially the vehicle which are of outside UT JK registration and are plying in district Bandipora without proper documents/registration Certificates.
During the drive Bandipora police have seized 45 vehicles through out the district and Challaned 78 vehicles.
Bandipora police appeals to general public of the district to complete re-registration process of vehicles brought from outside J&K U.T at an earliest. Vehicles purchased outside J&K with non-J&K registration numbers & not registered with local ARTO offices or vehicles having J&K registration having not valid documents shall be seized. If you own such vehicle get it transferred & registered with local ARTO immediately to avoid seizure.
