Srinagar: Sahil shakeel 16 years old budding writer hailing from Charar -i- Sharief area of district Budgam who recently passed his 12th class and is a writer and a co- author.
During conversation Sahil said, that he had started writing from 2017.He had won district Quiz competition that was held in May 2019 at Girls higher secondary school Budgam and was awarded by CEO Budgam. He defeated 12 zones single handedly in that quiz competition.
Apart from this he is a co- author of an anthology “Nanhe Farishtay”, where his poem named “My date with nature” is published in that anthology. The cover release of the anthology was published last year and got ISBN mark this year. He is co- author of another anthology “Dawning Dusk” where is poem “Why” written on rape victims but that is yet to published.
I might be working as a freelance writer in some coming days and my dream is to become an IAS Officer where is could help my youth in every possible way I could. He had also written a novel but that is not published yet.Due to some personal issues he became a writer and then he started to learn more about it.
He during the end of the interview said that one should try to find out the mistakes done by oneself ,try to write them all and find the best possible way to correct them. He said that one should believe in himself and motivation is the big power. One should try to motivate own self because there are people who will demotivate you but you don’t need to pay attention to it.
One more thing I would like to add is that don’t plan for better future just try to correct the mistakes you have done in the past.It will lead you to better and prosperous future.Another thing is that, loneliness was the prime cause of my writing.I usually don’t interact with people, so being lonely dragged me into the writing which I suppose is the biggest reason that books and pen became my life line.I would end up by saying one should aspire to be perfect in any genre you want to.
