Anantnag, May, 25: Anantnag Police has once again shown its commitment to eradicate the drug menace by apprehending notorious drug peddler. On specific information SHO Mattan established a naka at Akura Junction and apprehended One persons namely Ghulam Mohi ud din Sheikh S/O Mohd Munavar resident of Bon Nambal along with about 15Kgs of bung powder and 08Kgs of popp Straw.
In this connection case FIR no.50/2021 under relevant sections of the law stands registered in Police Station Mattan and investigation has been taken up.
Anantnag Police once again appeals the people of the District to come forward with the information regarding drug peddlers so that curative steps can be taken against them.
Anantnag Police apprehended a drug peddler along with Narcotic Substance.
