Budgam, May 7: Police have arrested duo with charas in Soibugh area of Central Kashmir’s Budgam district.
Sources told news agency Kashmir News Trust a party from police post Soibugh intercepted a Santro vehicle (JK04A 4106) near a check-post at Wadwun.
When the vehicle was searched, multiple strips of Anxit tablets and 190 grams of charas were found.
Two persons on board were detained and a formal case (116/21) against them was registered while the vehicle was also seized.
Police sources identified the arrested duo as as Javid Ahmad Beigh of Nasruallahpora Budgam and Mushtaq Ahmad Shiekh, a resident of Galwanpora Budgam. (KNT)
