Srinagar, May, 07: The President Jammu & Kashmir Employees Coordination Committee and Chairman JKTA Shah Fayaz in a statement urged LG Adminstration to acknowledge the work of Asha Workers and other line Departments viz. Education, PHE, Revenue, etc who work tirelessly on ground putting their lives at risk in this Pandemic.
A number of Teachers have been deployed to Covid-19 vaccination centres,covid hospitals, surveillance, sample collection centers, magistrate of containment zones and they have not been enlisted in the incentives announced by LG J&K.
Besides Ashah workers are working in coordination with Anganwadi workers, and other line departments to mobilize general masses related to Covid-19 and vaccination thereof.
JKECC urges urgent attention of administration towards this grave issue and demands announcement of incentives in favour of all the employees who work as frontline workers in this Covid-19 Pandemic.
The fight against the Covid-19 is impossible without these warriors who work on ground on meagre salaries.
They are among the million-strong warriors who form the backbone of the country’s sprawling healthcare system and they have been at the forefront in the battle against Covid-19.
Leadership of JKECC including vice president Abida war, Dr.Fayaz, Hatim Qayoom, Er.Altaf Rasool,shah Ashiq, Ali mohd have also urged for personal intervention of honourable LG j&K UT Shri Manoj Sinha Sahab.
