Kulgam, July 14: Kulgam Police interminably making unwavering efforts to eradicate the menace of drugs from the society; arrested one more drug peddler.
A Naka was established at Khee by the Police party of Police Station Behibagh under the supervision of DySP PC Hatipora Shri Arif Hussain-JKPS and SHO PS Behibag Insp Subzar Ahmad. During checking one vehicle (Auto Load Carrier) bearing registration number JK03B- 5375 was intercepted and (09 Kg of Poppy Straw) like substance was recovered from the possession of a Person Amir Ahmad Teeli S/O Mohd Ismaeel Teeli R/O HumshaliBug Yaripora. He was arrested and contraband substance along with vehicle used in commission of crime were seized. however, another person whose identity has been ascertained as Mohd Hussain Ganie S/O Abdul Gani Ganie R/O Yaripora Jumped off the said Auto and managed to flee from the spot and efforts are going on to nab him.
Regarding the incident case with FIR No. 42/2021 U/S 8/15 NDPS stands registered in Police Station Behibagh and further investigation into the matter has been initiated.
