Bandipora, 22 Aug: Jammu Kashmir Apni Party Youth Wing Bandipora, organized youth convention in Bandipora today, in which dozens of youth joined the party.

Speaking on the occasion, Usman Majid welcomed the new entrants into the party fold and termed youth as the main driving force to run the state. “Youth can change the destiny of any society and if their energies are properly directed, it will yield fruits,” Majid said, adding, the Jammu and Kashmir needs the services of dedicated youth for the betterment of society.

Majid said that JKAP is the only party that can meet the challenges confronted to the UT. He said the youth can play a bigger role in making the government deliver, as development has come to grinding halt and administration is in a paralytic mode due to lack of political direction.

In a statement issued, Usman Majid said that Apni Party is not a “B-team” of the BJP as described by political rivals like the National Conference and the PDP but an outfit which has no history of being a dynasty.

It is ironic that those who enjoyed fruits of power, courtesy the BJP, they call us B-team. People will have to really expose and teach those parties a strong lesson in Upcoming elections who are just to retain their hold on power, and want to create doubts about anybody who is new to politics.

JKAP has the mission to serve the people of J&K and work for the welfare of general public,” he added.

He made a fervent appeal to youth of J&K to come forward to contribute to overall development of the UT and people as well.

He said youth in J&K has the responsibility to bring the UT especially Kashmir out of muddle created due to the un-favourable situation prevailing in the valley since three decades.

Despite the difficult situations youth in Valley from all they have proved as they are not behind the youth in rest of the country, they have the potential and they should continue to work hard and contribute to peace and overall development of Jammu and Kashmir.

Majid urged everyone to channelise their energies in the development of the J&K. The solution to every problem is only development.

State General Secretary Irfan Manhas ,while addressing the convention, said, “The presence of such a large number of young people is a clear proof that youth  are aware of their rights and they are ready to move up the ladder.

Khalid Rathore, Provincial President JKAP Youth Wing asked youth to come forward to join mainstream politics and the welfare of society.

District President Bandipora Syed Shafat & MCB Chairman Khurshed Ahmad also urged the youth to strengthen the Party further to ensure safety, security and development of the people of J&K.

Speaking on the Occasion, District Youth President Wasif Mir JKAP Youth Wing, congratulated the youth for joining the party. He said that the youth in Kashmir need to be active in mainstream politics.

Wasif stressed that more youth should come forward and join the JKAP as this is the only party with a long term solution for the problems of people here in Jammu & Kashmir.

Others who spoke on the occasion are DDC Gh Mohi-Ud-Din, BDC Chairman Hari Begum, Sarpanchs & Panchs.
