Illicit Timber Seized in Kokernag
Anantnag, Nov 13 (GNS): Forest Protection Force Kokernag on Saturday Evening claimed to have seized illicit timber in Zalangam Village of Kokernag range in Anantnag forest division.
An official told GNS that after receiving specific inputs of timber smuggling, a party lead by Forest Protection Force Kokernag succeeded in seizure of 41 Cubic Feet illicit timber in Zalangam Village of Kokernag range in Anantnag forest division.
The timber in question, as per the official, was dumped in the House of Zaffar Ahmad son of Ab Rasheed of Zalangam Kokernag.
Further action in this regard will follow accordingly, the official added. (GNS)
