Police arrests 04 gamblers in Thajiwara Achabal, stake money seizez
Anantnag, November 16: Acting tough against social crimes, Achabal Police have arrested 04 gamblers from a gambling site and seized stake money from their possession.
Acting on specific information, a police party from Police
Station Achabal raided
a gambling site at Thajiwara following an input about gambling activities and apprehended four gamblers.
They have been identified as (1)Bilal Ahmad Mochi son of Nazir Ah Mochi, (2) Mohd Lateef Dar Son of Sanaullah Dar , (3) Mohd Rafiq Dar Son of Gull Mohd Dar and (4)Aijaz Hussain Ganie Son of Gh Mohd Ganie All the Residents of Thajiwara Achabal.
Police have seized stake money of 36,370/- and playing cards from the gamblers. They have been shifted to Police Station where they remain in custody.
Accordingly, a case FIR No. 117/2021 U/S 13 under relevant sections
of law has been registered in Police Station Achabal and
investigation has been initiated.
