“Technical snag” in Post Office Bandipora leaves consumers high & dry
Bandipora, 09 November: The Consumers across North Kashmir’s district Bandipora have been left in lurch from past more than a week as the Post office of India Post situated in Bandipora have developed a sudden “Technical Snag” and all the delivery, despatch and other related works have come to an absolute halt.
Consumers mostly Students, Bussinessmen tuesday complained that they are in a state of tizzyness from past 10 days as Postal activities in the aforesaid office are completely defunct.
“I have packed books worth Rs ten thousand, but I’m unable to deliver them to the respective address because of non-functioning of the post. The same condition is persistent from last 10 days. This is creating a lot of inconvenience,” said one of the agitated consumer.
The locals further stated that the work is being suspended before 10 days following which all the visitors are being asked to visit the office again. “One fails to understand what is happening at post office Bandipora. The office was meant to help the people, but unfortunately, the authorities don’t pay heed over it and thus push the local populace to the wall,” Irfan, another local visitor said.
They appealed higher-ups of the said department to look into the matter and redress the issue on fast-track basis.
Meanwhile, an official from Post office Bandipora said that, “they are facing severe technical sang and are unable to configure the network, adding that their back-end team is on job and will fix the issue in coming 2-3 days”.
