Poonch, July 9 Two minor girls are feared to have died while a 9-year-old boy was rescued after the trio drowned while they were taking a bath in Mandheri river near Dhaki Bridge in Poonch distroct on Saturday.
Official sources told GNS that the three children drowned in the water body and 9-year-old Azhar was rescued alive by the rescue team. However there was no trace of two other girls—Rafit Bi daughter of Sarfaraz and Aliya Bi daughter of Liyaqat Khan— even as efforts by rescuers including police, civilian, army continued when this report was filed.
