Srinagar, July 29 Another soldier was detained at the Srinagar International Airport on Friday after airport security recovered a live cartridge from his baggage.
An official told news agency Kashmir Dot Com that that during screening at the drop gate of the Srinagar International Airport, one live cartridge of 7.62 mm was recovered from the baggage of Babin Kumar of 3 RR who was proceeding on leave from Srinagar to Delhi by GoFirst flight.
Kumar was immediately detained for questioning and later handed over to police post Humhama, the official said. He said that further investigation has been launched in this regard.
Earlier, a soldier from Assam Riffles (AR) was detained with two live rounds of INSAS.(KDC)
