Baramulla, July 7 River Police on Friday morning retrieved the dead body of a teenage girl from Srinagar in Palapora area of Srinagar.
Pertinently, a teenage girl (name withheld), a resident of Bhagwanpora Noor Bagh had jumped into the river Jehlum on Wednesday near Cement Bridge Noor Bagh area of Srinagar.
Since then, efforts were on to retrieve her body.
An official from the River Police told KNT that the body has been handed over to police post-Noor Bagh which after the completion of required formalities will hand it over to the family. (KNT)
