Srinagar, Aug 02 Amid confusion among students over shifting of board exams to march session, officials on tuesday said the official announcement will be made within 10 to 15 days.
Talking to reporters on sideline of a function at Government girls higher secondary school Kothibagh here in Srinagar, Principal secretary school education department B K Singh as per Kashmir Bulletin — KB said that, It will take next 10 – 15 days to take final call on whether Board exam will be shifted to March session as per National Education Policy 2020 from Current year.
Singh further said that, NEP 2020 was and is a continues process and many things have been implemented as well.
He said that impacts were visible as we see results of learning outcomes of last three years.
“Jammu and Kashmir is at good rank, at rank 5 all over India, as previously we were at 17th rank, so Impacts of NEP 2020 are comming,” he siad.
He said the basic principle of NEP 2020 was to shift from Rote learning to conceptional and experinecel learning, “That has been done as we have chnaged the pattern of question papers. now students have to apply minds while answering questions. With this we develop thought process of student,” he said. (Kashmir Bulletin — KB)
