Bandipora, kashmir: An 23-year-old passionate writer from a Ward No 4 Plan of district Bandipora has published two maiden books titled ‘How Islam rescue The journey of Lostsoul’ & Addiction Lies: How to Avoid and Detox your addiction’ and is currently working on a non fiction to be released in few weeks.
Shariq Ahmad Mir, a young author is currently pursuing his post graduation MBA through clusteruniversity .
He has cleared his schooling from space age Model school Bandipora and has done hisr Bachelors degree BBA through University of kashmir
Talking to the this reporter, the young author said: “I have covered all the aspects that matter to a human and guiding the youth to retrospect that will help to come out of the wrongdoings.” He said: “I come from a very lesser-known area of Kashmir where people aren’t familiar to books, writings and other art due to less exposure and dearth of opportunities especially a proper platform to excel.”
Shariq said that in his book, he has talked about culture, competence, and caliber of youth and all the things that an individual comes across in life regularly especially that affect and matters to humans.
In his first book (How islam rescue the journy of LostsouL ) is a full of practical advice A journey of return towards Allah . Some might see the path as bleak but this book enlightens readers that Allah will always guide us all home no matter where we are and no matter where we come from. If any reader feels lost in finding meaning to their lives, this book will highlight the research topics of rescue losslessness and clarify doubts pertaining to such matters.
And his 2nd book (Addiction Lies) is a must for any recovering addict. This book busts the full spectrum of addiction―from drugs, alcohol, caffeine, and sugar addictions to addictions to digital media, work, stress, bad relationships, and fame. This book describes a more holistic approach to recovery by combining treatments of the past with the latest knowledge and techniques.
The young author said that after the successful publication of his maiden books currently he is working on a comprehensive novel and a poem expected to be finalized very soon.
“I belong to a middle class family. It wasn’t easy for me to overcome the daily challenges since there is no other source of income and help,” he said. “In a very less time, a nonfiction and selfhelp book will be released with comprehensive details and writing that may attract readers of the cross section of the society,” he said.Besides pursuing his academic dreams, he has an indefinite love for writing which he has been writing since school days.Talking about family’s support he says that everyone in the family encouraged him to pursue his dream of becoming a writer.
“I want to give happiness to other people, my dream of life is to become an author of many other books and Insha’Allah I will make it happen,” he said. “If you want to do anything in your life don’t think what others say, do what you want to be.”His books are also available on Amazon and flipkart and is receiving good response from readers.“My main motive behind publishing this work is to show people that writing is a way to empty your mind from stress and share the thoughts which we are usually unable to speak about.” he said, adding” A lot of people usually find it difficult to share their problems with others and this stress eats them up from inside and writing it down can possibly help one to stress less and feel better.”
A person should share his/her knowledge because if a person leaves this world, their knowledge will stay alive,” he said, adding that he strongly believes that culture defines a person and one should always entertain it’s culture no matter how low or high they are in life.
Apart from Writing, Sharik Ahmad Mir wants to become an islamic scholar and civil service officer to Responsible for improvement of social infrastructure and Curbing corruption to counter poverty.
“My message to the youth of J&K will be that be strong in each and every situation and never let depression and other things decide your fate,” he said.
