Srinagar, June 14: The Deputy Commissioner (DC), Akshay Labroo along with SSP Budgam, Nikhil Borkar today flagged off Mata Kheer Bhawani Yatra from Pandit Colony Sheikhpora towards Tulmulla.
The DC extended his hearty greetings on auspicious occasion of Mela Kheer Bhawani and during interaction with devotees, the DC extended his best wishes for comfortable journey to all the pilgrims joining Mela Kheer Bhawani celebrations at Mata Kheer Bhawani JI temple at Tulmulla in Ganderbal and at Tikker in Kupwara district.
The DC took stock of necessary arrangements including transportation.
He said that all required arrangements have been put in place for the devotees for this pious yatra to ensure seamless to and fro travel from both religious places in Ganderbal and Kupwara districts.
The yatra began with religious fervour and great enthusiasm.
The main congregation will be held at Tulmulla (Ganderbal) on the auspicious occasion of Zyesht Ashtami today on June 14, 2024.
