Srinagar, July 10: The Government Railway Police (GRP), Jammu and Kashmir has officially cancelled the earlier advertisement regarding the engagement of Special Police Officers (SPOs) in GRP Jammu and GRP Kashmir.
As per the official Notice of Cancellation of Advertisement issued by the Inspector General of Police, GRP J&K, the recruitment notice published vide No. GRPJK/Estt/Eng-SPOs-01/2022/6980-82 dated 30.07.2022, and subsequent corrigendum No. GRPJK/Estt/Eng-SPOs-01/2022/7193-95 dated 04.08.2022, stands cancelled due to administrative reasons.
The initial advertisement had invited applications for the post of SPOs in the Government Railway Police of both Jammu and Kashmir divisions. However, authorities have now decided to withdraw the recruitment process.
